China: INTO, IBSS to expand English taught courses

ibss-china.jpg The PIE (Professionals in International Education) News reports on two international universities in China that have announced additions to their portfolios of English-taught courses as China’s appeal as a study destination continues to grow.

INTO-China with top ranked Nankai University will offer a six year undergraduate Medical MBBS and a two year MBA while The International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), part of the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, is preparing to launch its International MBA.

IBBS will also host some 200 executives from companies including HSBC, Coca Cola, Standard Chartered Bank and BP later this week at its official international launch in a bid to build presence within the European, American and wider Asian markets.

“We have done up a lot of facilities – a brand new architectural novelty that opened in August and redesigned the entrance to the business school but the key objective is to become more known outside of China and this international event might attract some attention,” professor Sarah Dixon, Dean of IBSS told The PIE News.
