TESOL to hold events in Cameroon, Brazil, & China

tesol-logo.jpgIn a press release today, TESOL announced plans to hold one-to-two-day regional events in Cameroon, Brazil, & China.

TESOL International Association will be holding three international events for English language educators, administrators, policy makers, and researchers this year. The events will take place in Yaoundé, Cameroon; São Paulo, Brazil; and Guangzhou, China. Each event is a one-to-two-day regional program held in collaboration with a TESOL affiliate, and all provide participants a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with leading experts in the field on a specific topic or issue.

The acronym TESOL stands for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, a professional association for English language educators engaged in the field of English as a second or foreign language.

“As an international community, it is important for us to advance the field and address the needs of English language learners and professionals worldwide through events like these,” noted TESOL Executive Director Rosa Aronson.
