ECAP Conference this Sunday at the British Council in Tokyo

Teaching-English-in-Japan-Education-British-Council" The fifth annual ELT Career and Professional Development Conference (ECAP) will be held this coming Sunday in Tokyo. The event comprises a full day of presentations and workshops of interest to all those teaching English to young adults and adults - junior high school, high school, university, community language schools and so on - and provides teachers a chance to reflect on their own classroom efforts and to share those reflections with others.

This year ECAP is hosting a panel discussion with audience participation on "Now I'm a Teacher: My Choices Ahead". Six panelists will discuss how they've developed their careers within the teaching field or how they've used their experience as teachers to move on to other career paths and field questions from the audience on their choices.

The event is organized by Cambridge University Press, the British Council, Teachers College Columbia University, ABAX and the Daily Yomiuri.
