Proposal deadline looms for the Extensive Reading World Congress in Kyoto

Teaching-English-in-Japan-Education-Eigo-Noto" The Extensive Reading Foundation is organizing the first Extensive Reading World Congress to be held on the campus of Kyoto Sangyo University, Kyoto, Japan from 3-6 September 2011. According the the official website: "The World Congress represents the first time for all those involved with the extensive reading approach -- teachers, scholars, writers and publishers -- to gather under one roof for a conference dedicated purely to extensive reading."

Those considering presenting at the conference should note that the deadline for the Call for Proposals is February 28th.

In addition to the World Congress, the ERF is also responsible for the coveted Language Learner Literature Award and the Milne Innovation Award.
