RIC release 2011 catalog, begins distribution of Global Stories

RIC.gif RIC Japan has released its 2011 catalog, a huge compendium of materials including their own Story Chest titles, books from Lerners and of course the acclaimed Scholastic Readers series, which RIC represent here.

RIC is also giving some Japan-based authors some sales and marketing clout. John Spiri, author of Global Stories teamed with RIC in the summer of 2010. Spiri commented: "Several RIC readers, in particular those in the Fact Scope series, are excellent complements to the Global Stories series of textbooks."

John Spiri self-published the first edition of Global Stories, an intermediate level classroom textbook in April 2002. Utilizing the same series of activities, he then created a beginner level, Nature Stories, and an upper level, Inspiring Stories. All three make global issues manageable and engaging for students.
