WorldCupEng_Torres.jpg

Premier Skills, a joint project between the Premier League and the British Council, has launched World Cup English, a World Cup website for learners of English. The site contains blogs, quizzes, games and videos and focuses on how Premier League players are doing in the World Cup.

The World Cup English website is part of the Premier Skills site which contains video interviews with players, articles about Premier League clubs and fans and match reports. In every section there are activities for students and there is a special section with ideas and downloadable materials for teachers.

Click here for the World Cup English site. Click here for the Premier Skills home page. Click here for a pack for schools with posters, worksheets and lesson plans.
