ETJ (English Teachers in Japan) looking for regional organizers

ETJlogo.jpg

ETJ (English Teachers in Japan) has local groups in many areas of Japan, and some of these groups are looking for teachers who are interested in helping run a group. If you are interested in starting a group in your area or helping run an existing group, please click here and send an e-mail letting ETJ know what you are interested in doing.

The ETJ regional groups are for teachers of children and junior high school students. Meetings in each area are usually held on a Sunday once every two or three months. Meetings are usually workshops where all teachers are encouraged to participate.

ETJ is a free association for English teachers in Japan that encourages the exchange of information and teaching ideas, and provides opportunities for training and professional development. It is a grass-roots organization that is dependent on a lot of individual teachers putting in a little time in many different ways. In fact, it is primarily aimed at the classroom teacher who is only able or prepared to put a limited amount of time into ETJ.
