Learners of English can win a trip to the UK to watch a Premier League game

premier.jpegThe British Council together with the Premier League is running a competition where the prizes include Premier League football shirts and the first prize is a trip to the UK to watch a Premier League game. The competition is open to learners of English aged 12 years and over. In order to enter, a student needs to make a short video clip or a PowerPoint with audio about their favorite Premier League Team. Click here for full information.

The British Council works with the Premier League through the Premier Skills website, where English students who also like football can combine their interests. There are also downloadable worksheets, lesson plans, videos, player interviews, classroom posters... for English teachers to use in their classrooms or for students to use as self-study materials.
