Video interviews with Paul Nation and Barbara Hoskins-Sakamaoto at the Expo in Nagoya

paul_nation.jpgDarren Elliott, who attended the ETJ Expo in Nagoya last Sunday, interviewed both Paul Nation and Barbara Hoskins-Sakamoto and has put the interviews on his blog. Click here to see the interviews.

Paul Nation is one of the world's leading experts on vocabulary learning and acquisition. He gave two presentations at the Expo - one on developing reading fluency and the other on successful vocabulary activities. His presentations were sponsored by Compass Publishing and David English House.

Barbara Hoskins-Sakamoto is a teacher of children and an author of Let's Go, published by Oxford University Press, which is the most popular course for elementary school children in Japan. She gave a presentation on Let's Go activities.

Paul Nation will also be presenting at the Tokyo Expo on Sunday November 1st at Toyo Gakuen University and at the Kansai Expo which will be held in Osaka on Sunday November 29. Barbara Hoskins-Sakamoto will also be presenting at the Kansai Expo and at the Kyushu Expo which will be held in Fukuoka on Sunday December 8.
