The University of Birmingham MA in Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language and the MA in Applied Linguistics are still firmly established as the most popular and prestigious distance MAs for English teachers in Japan. About 90 teachers in Japan are currently taking the courses through David English House.

There are two entry points each year, April 1 and October 1. Teachers interested in receiving more information or applying for the courses starting in October should e-mail Christine Watson. You can also find information on the courses by clicking here.
