ELT News jobs section proving very effective

The revamped ELT News jobs section is proving very effective. Not so many schools have taken advantage of the new cheap rates and started advertising positions, but the ones that have are receiving many job applications. David Paul of David English House said, 'Over 200 teachers clicked through from our job announcement on ELT News to our web site in March and I am sure many more read the ad but didn't immediately go to our site.'

He went on to say that he feels sorry for the applicants because he has been unable to even contact most of them. 'This is the busiest time of the year and there have been too many. I very much hope more schools will start advertising on the site so that more of these applicants will be able to find jobs.'

It now only costs ¥20,000 per month to advertise on ELT News even though many thousands of teachers visit the site each week. Employers can see advertising information by clicking here.
