Thomas McAuley's 'Thoughts on Japan' column proving very popular

profile.jpgThomas McAuley's ELT News column, 'Thoughts on Japan' is receiving very positive feedback with comments such as 'Amazing and informative', 'Splendid article. I wait agog', 'Definitely an addition to my reading list'. The articles so far have covered a range of topics from a discussion of whether or not Japanese is a difficult language to samurai dramas.

Thomas's deep insights into Japanese language and culture are based on extensive experience and research. He has been teaching Japanese language and studies for more than fifteen years, most recently at the University of Sheffield, UK, and is currently Academic Tutor for the University's Japanese Distance Learning programme.
