New ELT News column - 'Humanistic Teaching' by Chris Hunt

portrait.jpgChris Hunt, who has long been an advocate of a more democratic and humanistic approach to education, has just started a regular new ELT News column on 'Humanistic Teaching'. Over the years, Chris' ideas have challenged and stimulated many teachers around Japan, and his new column is likely to do the same.

In his first article, Chris begins by quoting a wide range of writers from Voltaire to Einstein to illustrate where he is coming from, provoke readers into having a closer looking at their assumptions, and lead into a critical assessment of current education. You can see the full article here.
