Students unable to pay tuition fees

The Zenkiku Shikyoren, a private school teachers' union, has reported that 3,400 private middle school and high school students had not paid tuition fees for three months or more up until the end of September. The union is concerned that the number of students who cannot pay will increase further as the financial crisis gets worse.

This could easily affect private language schools in the near future. The crisis will almost certainly result in lower incomes for many families unless things improve soon.
