SARS Fears Still Affecting ELT

A recent feature in the Guardian newspaper entitled "Just open wide and say Sars... " (or "Why language teaching has become the ideal job for the paranoid.") reported on how the disease is affecting EFL teaching in the UK. While teachers working in stuffy classrooms worry about the risks of infection - particularly from Asian students - it seems that language schools and universities are more interested in enrollment numbers than quarantine periods.
