Money Talks

Financial Services Minister Heizo Takenaka said Tuesday the Financial Services Agency (FSA) will continue to make efforts to boost public awareness about English financial terms that it often uses to explain policy. Takenaka made the comment in reference to low public understanding of financial jargon borrowed from English, such as the terms "governance" and "task force," shown in a Cultural Affairs Agency poll released last Thursday.
