KidZania Tokyo

English Activities Program Navigator | Part-time, Part-time, Part-time, K

Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo (Yurakucho metro)

Description

KidZania Tokyo is an 'edutainment' theme park where kids (3-15 y/o) learn about society through realistic role play based jobs and activities. KidZania is one of Japan's most popular theme parks, and is a global franchise that originated in Mexico and that currently operates in eight different locations around the world.
KidZania Tokyo has a strong focus on English that allows kids to encounter English in a natural way while taking part in the different Activities.
The English Activities Program (EAP) is like a tour where a Navigator takes groups of up to six kids to five different Activities done all in English. The kids that participate generally have some experience with English, but there can be variation in levels.
EAP is not a teaching program, and no lesson planning is required. However, experience working with kids and the ability to deal with kids of different ages and language abilities is necessary. Also, Navigators must memorize scripts for at least 10 Activities that last approximately 30 minutes each.
This is a great job for people who are interested in kids, education, and entertainment! KidZania is a fun place to work and a good opportunity to work with young Japanese men and women.
