This is a growing selection of teacher resources - teaching activities and ideas - chosen
from among the huge selection of resource books published by Oxford University Press. Month by month,
we will build up a library of practical resources that you can take straight into the classroom. The ideas
and activities are divided into categories: Kids, Junior High School, Senior High School, and
Adults (includes college students). If you are interested in buying the books, they are all available - at

Writing - Gathering Information: What is the writing process? Some background knowledge can help make writing activities much more effective. The "Gathering Information" activity is designed to help teenagers get ready for writing. The task places emphasis on careful preparation, when students can learn think out and talk out ideas and exlore possibilities. Great for lower intermediate senior high school students.
